All transfers are done in air-conditioned, 4x4 vehicles.

Camera, enough memories and batteries. In addition a pair of binoculars can be helpful.

A camera bag is necessary to protect the equipment from the rain.

The camp is located in a humid rainforest, therefore it is recommended to bring a raincoat, boots and insect repellent.

The camp has water, electricity services available. However there is no internet connection, and the cellular signal is irregular, due to the fact that the camp is located in the middle of the jungle.

The camp has various 4x4 vehicles for transfer to the different areas of the nature reserve.

The food offered, first in the restaurant of San Blas, is international cuisine. During the stay on the island and sea routes, the food is based on seafood (fish, shrimp, oysters and squid mainly), accompanied by fruit, milk, eggs, vegetables, natural water and fresh water. Due to the island being a bird sanctuary, all alcohol products are forbidden.(Any special meal request will be met, as long as it is notified in advance).

I was there in June. Spectacular place, amazing biodiversity. We saw bird species like the toucan (Ramphastos sulfuratus), great curassow (Crax rubra), the ocellated turkey (Meleagris ocellata), among several others; two species of primates: the howler monkey and the spider monkey, and other mammals like the agouti. We saw jaguar and tapir footprints, tapir sightings are frecquent according to our guides, who were very knowledgeable and experienced in detecting and following fauna. The food and service at the camp were excellent. I definitely recommend this site for wildlife photography!
