Mazati is a conservation park in the state of Jalisco, a private eden of nature that is guarded by man and a place where you can live safely and comfortably in the abundance of life in th Sierra de Tapalpa.
To truly appreciate the nature we have set up special viewing areas, that are safe and comfortable and will enable you to discretely watch the wildlife. You can witness the natural habitat of such species as the collared peccary, wild turkeys, coatis, as well as badgers, foxes, charms pechigris, the flag bird, woodpeckers, squirrels, rabbits, opossums, cacomixtles, mourning doves, skunks, bobcats and the white-tailed deer.

No. Even though wildlife is wildlife, animals do not attack people if we follow the safety standards that will be provided by the guides.
For the observation of some species, we have comfortable and safe hiding places.
Any trip to a conservation park can be dangerous, due to the animals living in their natural habitat, virtually unsupervised.
However, if you follow the proper security guidelines, you will be safe.
Our guides have sufficient experience to advise you on the proper safety procedure, including the safe distance and the proper behaviour in case of each of the species.
Mazati is an experience of life in the midst of nature, so there are no urban services such as electricity, running water, and celular signal is irregular in the camp area.
The bathrooms are individual cabins with dry latrine system. Water to wash hands and drink is taken in large flasks for your service.
